At DISCOVERY ELEMENTARY, chronic absenteeism has risen 83% over the 5-year window — from 24.5% in 2015 to 44.8% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 3.5% above in 2015 to 16.8% above in 2020.
